Don't want to think about virus!

I have just realised that the English press has talked about the French flu warning its readers about it.... I went to my French GP last Wednesday and he gave me some Amoxycilline
I wonder if have that flu but then surely he would have told me right?
Sniff!
I still went to school today and spend the whole day trying not to cough and when I did, eyebrows were raised and sneaky smiles, probably because I sounded very rough.
At lunch time I went to a café in Niort and kept coughing and again it was embarrassing! So glad ti's the week-end!
A few photos

And I can't resist to share with you one of the latest photo of Timothé rabbit lol

Please brothers and sisters in Christ, keep me and Steven in your prayers.  I put my trust in our Father and ask Him to heal me in the name of Jesus-Christ. Amen
God bless you in Jesus' name.

Let's chill!

That's it, I am officially on holiday. However when I woke up this morning, it took me a few seconds to realise that I didn't have to get ready for work..even though I don't work on Saturday of course! At work, last week, most people (including I) were counting the number of get up! And after our visit to Alton Towers, a complete success, smiles were on every faces!
We've just had a really nice bbq in good company, Verity and David came to see us for a chat and a lunch all the way from Bolton. Verity and I managed to get a bit of tan until one o'clock, after that it went overcast! So this was even better as we could enjoy the heat without burning..that is if we forget to put some more sun cream lotion! For desert, no chocolate cake, instead, Verity and David very kindly picked up our home-grown raspberries (that is, off our temporary accommodation) and with vanilla ice-cream (the last tab available at the local shop) we had a delicioso desert!
Imogen can't wait to go to her auntie Jacqueline's wedding in Missouri! and we need to load more stuff in the caravane..What are your plans for the summer?
Hope you are having a relaxing week-end! Yours in Christ. N.

One of my favourite songs!

At last, it's the week-end! I have had a bit of a busy week as on top of the normal load of marking and planning, i had the honor to do the assembly. Though I am used to talk in public and in front of a assembly of students and their parents, I never did an assembly. First I asked my form if they liked singing and they all panicked. You should have seen their face! No way, we can't sing. Questions were coming fast ! Miss, do you mean, we have to stand up and sing. Well you'll sing along with everybody else.
Finally the IT technician said I could not have a cable as his last two were not returned to him ..so this was not good news! Then I thought i'd better talk to one music teacher at least. He said: our students are very competent at singing. However it depends on their mood.. I wouldn't say it's a safe option for a first assembly.
So in the end, I jotted a few notes, got some inspiration. You would have guessed that I prayed a lot for inspiration. Two of my tutees accepted to meet me at break to read their parts. One did not turn up! Never mind Emily was still happy to do it all. Finally she found Rachelle, another tutee who first had said, no way, I am not talking in front of everybody. Both read their parts beautifully.
I have posted the song I wanted us to sing. It was in You tube and I hope this is legal. If anybody knows it is not, please let me know!
Praise the Lord!
